The Pool!!

Saturday was a georgous day. Megan called me up and I took a break from painting and we went to the pool for a while. The water was FREEZING, but it was fun!!!










Saturday night we had a low keyed evening. Jason and Jen came over and we played my new favorite card game, Canasta. Even though the guys beat us 2 out of 3 games, it was still a lot of fun!!

I had a baby shower to go to for my cousin's wife so Eric had Camryn and Carrie over for dinner. They grilled out hamburgers and made homemade french fries. Camryn below is pushing the baby stroller around.................

So I had to go treat myself on my lunch hour today to a Sonic Vanilla Coke, YUMMY!!! And the best part, it was happy hour so I got it for 1/2 off!!! YEAH!! Gotta love a good drink and a bargain!!!

It's so nice out that I didnt want to come back to work! Today would be a great day to be at the pool!! Maybe we will get to go this weekend?? TGIF!!!!!!

Softball Games

Tonight, two of my nieces had softball games. Kennady played first, followed by Madison. Both of their teams lost but they both played really hard. Its all about fun anyways.

Weekend plans:

Friday night we have a baby shower to go to for my cousin's wife, Bekah. They live in California and she is due with a baby boy in August. Chad has been deployed so he will not be here. I am looking forward to seeing Bekah and also to see some family that we haven't seen in a while. I can't wait to see all the cute baby gifts too! I hope to take my camera and get some good pics!

Saturday I plan on painting most of the day. We have a good start and I want to get as much done as I can while the weather is nice but not too hot out.

Sunday I would like to relax, maybe go on a picnic. I may do a little painting, it just depends on my mood! ha!!!

Last week I watched my bosses kids for her. We had Sophie and Maddix over too and we had pizza and then took them to the park. The kids had a great time and the weather was great!

Saturday night we had a slumber party with Madison, Riley and Kennady. We had a photo shoot on Sunday and the girls had fun getting their picture taken. We also took them to Cinnamon's graduation party. She received her masters from Purdue University! Way to go Cinnamon!!!!

In other news, Eric and I have been going to foster parenting classes. We had 3 Saturday classes in a row that was an all day class. We decided to do the classes in Frankfort as that was the next session and we were anxious to get started on the classes. We still have our CPR/First Aid class to do on June 7th. We are turning in our paperwork tomorrow to the DCS and will wait til we finish up the CPR/First Aid class. We are so excited and are hoping to get a baby. They told us in our class that if we are wanting a baby we have to have a nursery ready. We are in the process of getting everything we need for a nursery. Its fun, scary, exciting and nerve racking all at the same time! Please keep us in your prayers as we get through all of this paperwork, house inspection and all.

We have had a few softball games so far this season as well as Jensen with his baseball. A lot of the games have gotten rained out so hopefully they can play soon. Madison, Riley and Kennady are all playing softball this year. It keeps us hoppin, that is for sure but we wouldnt change it for the world.

Eric and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversay on May 14th. I can't believe we have been married that long. It seems like just yesterday I was wearing this.........

My how time flies when you are having fun!!!
