Okay, back to blog world!!

I have to admit, I am an avid blogger!! I read over 20 blogs a day and love it when something new is on their blog! I guess you could say I'm ADDICTED!!!! So, I have been in contact with a few of my bloggers and I really want to keep my blog up to date.
So much has gone on since last APRIL that I will just tell you in a nutshell what is going on!
We moved this past weekend. We bought our first house and we are sooooooooo excited! Its so much fun owning your own home. I will try to take some pics when we get the house in order and post on here. Next thing, I had to have surgery again. LSS, I had my right ovary and my appendix out just 4 weeks ago. They had to open my up just like my last surgery and so I was pretty sore for a while. I felt great once I got all 33 of the staples out. Luckily, I have a GREAT husband and family and they helped me get back on my feet. I guess you could say I got lucky as I didnt have to help move! ha! I am going back to work part time next week. I am really glad. You can only watch so much tv, ya know? ha!
I am really tired of this snow. We got more today and are still getting it. There is not a lot of accumulation but there is already ice under the snow so the roads are really slick! I guess I am glad I dont have to get up and go to work! ha!
No big plans for the weekend. We are gonna try to kick it in high gear and get most of the house in order. I have to admit, I am anal and like my house in order. I have been doing quite a bit and the downstairs is pretty much in order but the upstairs needs some serious attention. I have to say, I had great help with the decorating so far and even have pictures on the walls!
I am going to post some pictures making Valentines Day cookies. My 3 nieces were over as well as my friends little girl. They had so much fun! Until next time........................

Its been a while.............

We have been busy with different things going on and I decided to take a moment to let you all know what is going on with us.
Well, as most of you already know, we will have to do invitro if we want to have a baby. We were not too discouraged with hopes to switch over to Purdues PPO Insurance plan as we believed they had a $10,000 benefit for infertility. After speaking with the benefits people at Purdue, we found out that no, that has since changed! So, once we can get a hold of $15,000, we will be doing it. We are thinking about looking into foster care. I think we are just trying to adjust and take things day by day.
We are getting ready for the March of Dimes walk. There will be a hog roast on Sunday, April 22nd to help raise money for our team. If anyone is interested in coming, its at the VFW from 1-7pm. Let me know if you have any questions.

An Update..........................

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I did have my surgery on Wednesday. Didn't get real good news but at least we know why I am having a hard time getting pregnant. Dr. Henry said that I have so much scar tissue from my cancer surgery that he couldn't even get to my tubes. The surgery was suppose to last about an hour and he was in there for two hours as he was trying to get to my tubes. He said in order for us to get pregnant, we will have to do In-Vitro. We have a follow up appointment with Dr. Henry on the 14th to learn more and figure out what is going on. I just thought I would update you all. Please continuing to pray for us!!

Blizzard 2007.....................

Well folks, we got the snow alright!!! I think we have gotten 12 inches so far and its blowing and drifting. My boss called me a bit ago and we are closed again tomorrow! YEAH!! I think Eric has to go in at noon so I may try to take him in the jeep since its 4-wheel drive. Planning on cleaning out the pantry and laundry room tomorrow. When I am stuck in I like to clean. You can only watch so much tv! Here is a picture from the Journal and Courier that someone took. Its from the top of the Holiday Inn downtown. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm!

All of the schools are closed tomorrow and I just got a call from my boss and they have closed ICM for tomorrow!! YEAH!! No work tomorrow! Eric is upset because they never close Purdue! Hopefully he can get in to work and get his things done and then get home before the worst comes. I can't wait for spring!! hehe!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................

For those of you who live down south, let me just say its FREEZING here in good ol' Indiana! I think the high today was like 9 with a very cold wind chill! I get to work today and guess what?? We have no heat!!!!!!!! It was 53 degrees in our building! We had little heaters plugged in and were all wearing our coats and gloves. That lasted for about 2-3 hours until they could get the problem fixed! It was not fun, to say the least!! We made it through the day and now lets pray that it will be working tomorrow when we go in. They have already made most of the schools around here on a 2 hour delay because of the frigid weather. I don't blame them as I know some little kids probably do have to walk to school. They say we are to get 5" of snow tonight but that is questionable?? We will see tomorrow when we wake up to go to work.

How about them COLTS!! They played a great game even in the rain. Coach Dungy is a great coach and deserved the win. Eric and I went to aunt and uncles and his cousins little boy, Maddix, had a Manning jersey on just like Eric.
